Good Day! Most of my life I dreamed of traveling. I was born and have lived most of my life in Arlington, TX. It’s a great place to live and we all joke that it is the largest small town in the US. Nevertheless, I always wanted to go places and meet the people that live and love their homes. When my husband and I met, God knew what I needed. His passion for sports missions takes him all over the US and the world! And me too! We have four wonderful children ages 19-25. When they were younger I encouraged them to go and see all the things before committing to a family. I guess they were listening (I know! Shocking!). One is with her fiancé in MD and will live in another country before coming home. The one I never saw leaving TX moved to KS for a new career and to see a new place. The third started getting her license for her career in high school and loves to travel, and the fourth is in college. I am so proud of them and our family as a whole. Blending a family is difficult and it takes all of us for it to work. Our favorite place to travel as a family is Isla Mujeres, MX. We love the people, the island waters and beaches. We are just as comfortable there as we are at home and really need people to stop going there. Way too busy!
Everyone says that it is great to travel but it’s always great to come home, and it’s always true. There is something about being part of a community where you are known and loved. I have considered just going to work every day, be really good at what I do, and go home. That would be the simple option. Then I hear about an opportunity that would bring my city’s communities together. Before I know it, I am asking around for key members that are the glue in their communities and simple is out the door. I firmly believe that if you serve others before yourself and seek to understand before being understood, your life will be more than full. I am human and fail often in my attempts to put others first, but there are reminders everywhere to keep me on track. No matter how long it takes. I guess God knows what I need there, too.

2. Q: Please tell us about your family.
Derric and I have been married for 12 years in August. Peyton is 25, a REALTOR in MD, and getting married to Quentin in June of ’22. Clayton is 21 and loves all things country. Music, trucks, boots, fishing, hunting and is as authentic as they come. Savannah is a REALTOR and broker assistant in DFW and saving up for a house. She is my introvert and learning at a crazy pace. Cooper is 19, an Aggie, TikTok famous and a podcaster.
3. Q: From where do most of your clients originate?
91% of my clients come from my sphere and referrals.
4. Q: What is something unique about your community?
We have not one but two sports teams that call us home. The Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. That’s why it is surprising that there is hardly a day that I don’t run into someone that I have known since childhood. Pretty amazing for a town of 400,000 people.

Believed in myself and focused on sales skills.

At some point you will have all of the knowledge that you need. Execute it! AND I am now convinced that there is NOTHING worse than being alone. Check on your people and people around you.
