Ryan Elwell is a Real Estate Agent and The Faces Of Partner in Champaign – Urbana Illinois. He is very tied to this community. He has an amazing church family and is an active leader in the youth group there. His family owns 6 rentals and he is the proud owner of a Cold Stone Creamery, because, who doesn’t like ice cream?
In addition to his real estate license he has his pilot, scuba diving and driving license so he can swim drive and fly!
Q: Please tell us about your family
A: I have been married since 2008 and we have a beautifully, soon to be 3 year old, lots of fun! While he Has only three siblings – his wife comes from a family of 4 biological and 6 adopted kids, so holidays and birthdays tend to be crazy! We also have two dogs – a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and a mini Schnauzer
Q: What is something unique about your community?
A: This is a university town and also it has a large hospital. 60% of his clients are local and 40% come from around the world. In the past year he has worked with people from Korea, Portugal, Seoul, Vietnam and Spain. He also helped the first international nurse for the hospital, from Manilla, purchase a home in their area. The community is undergoing a lot of change as downtown is into major renovation. They are the largest growing downtown area south of I-80 and the only county in IL that has posted a gain (or not declining) in population over the last two years
Q: What attracted you to this project?
A: My super awesome, cool, real estate coach.) I felt this is a way for me to bring an item of value to the people I would like to chat with and get to know. I am the most introverted extrovert and always wanted to have these kind of conversations. This is a great platform for me to do this.

A: Saving Private Ryan, I Can Only Imagine and Airplane
Q: Who is your favorite college sports team?
A: The Fighting Illini and I am also a HUGE St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Q: Who is the most famous person you have ever met?
A: I have shook hands with Lovie Smith
Q: What are two or three things or characteristics that you have that made you successful in your career?
A: Persistence, seeking wise counsel and being willing to step out of his comfort zone
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have been in this world?
A: The most exotic place was Maui Hawaii, that is probably on the top of his list.
